Our signature session, “The AI in HR panel”, during which we bring AI vendors with commercial companies who use AI applications together, and fire up the debate – will focus on the use of AI in Human Resources (HR) this year. Among others, the panel will feature AB InBev, the largest brewing company in the world, Rina Joosten, Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) and co-founder of Seedlink, and Jeanne Meister, Forbes journalist, who will chair the debate.
AI is increasingly applied in HR, to screen, assess, and select candidates and employees. The consequences of these AI applications are wide-ranging for HR professionals, organisaties, and employees. What is the role of HR in the world of AI? Are new AI applications more or less biased and transparent than the human-led process they are replacing? And how are candidates responding to their new digital assessors? Although recently there has been a lot of talk about the use of AI in HR, opportunities to hear about experiences of stakeholders with real-world applications are much less common. Therefore, hearing perspectives of developers and users of AI in HR is of crucial importance.
The panel discussion brings together key stakeholders in the discussion on AI in HR. By discussing concrete examples that are already having an impact on the workplace, we open a window onto broader themes and issues that are becoming ever more relevant for AI@Work.
