The quest for integration of the growing variety of workforce and workplace configurations within existing social protection schemes, education systems and other institutional support programs called for a collaboration among stakeholders. The Reshaping Work Dialogue initiative ran the first stage of multistakeholder discussions in August – December 2020, onboarding 18 project partners for 8 roundtable discussions and two workshops with the European Commission. Their result is a report that serves as the first step towards an ongoing effort to improve work and working conditions for workers across diverse forms of employment.
To contribute to the ongoing integration and to inspire policy discussion, multistakeholder dialogue aimed to illuminate the opportunities and complexities surrounding diverse forms of employment. The initiative concentrated on three main areas of pressing relevance that could inform policy responses:
Assistant Professor at the Department of Technology and Operations Management at the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University and Founder of Reshaping Work.
Postdoctoral Researcher at the Oxford Internet Institute, University of Oxford, working on the Fairwork project.
