Marketing & Communication Intern: Job Summary

Reshaping Work is a foundation headquartered in Amsterdam that promotes cutting-edge research, collaborative thinking, and multi stakeholder approach is looking for a Marketing and Communication Intern starting on July 1st.

Reshaping Work is on the lookout for a creative and passionate student to dive and supercharge our social media outlets. This role is perfect for someone who wants an extra challenge next to their studies, is interested in future of work and wants to acquire experience in the field of Marketing and Communication.

Start date: July 1st. minimum 6 months.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Admin Tasks

• Monitoring of info@reshapingwork.net mailbox
• Organising google drive (ensuring all necessary documents are there, that everyone has access, and that all is tidy and easy to find)
• Preparing weekly calendars with the team’s tasks
• Developing documents with RW’s communication strategy

Social Media and Marketing Tasks

• Creation of social media posts (e.g. researching on industry-related topics to develop original content, writing marketing copy or captions, designing visuals)
• Scheduling posts on Instagram, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, Threads and YouTube
• Engaging with other posts and accounts on Twitter and LinkedIn (e.g. commenting to posts of others, liking and following contacts of interests)
• Communicating with followers or audience (e.g. responding to comments and queries, if there are any)
• Helping out with newsletters’ designs and scheduling to our audience

Additional Activities 

• Assisting with launching Reshaping Work Blog platform
• Assisting with internally correlating blogs from our Medium (to increase internal traffic)
• Brainstorming about new project ideas

QUALIFICATIONS

• Educational Background: Actively enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program, specialising in Marketing, Business Administration, or a closely related discipline. This ensures the candidate has a solid academic foundation relevant to the role.
• Technical Skills: Proficient with Canva, Adobe Suite is a plus. Know how of social media and post optimization
• Communication Skills: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective collaboration within the team and clear articulation of ideas and strategies.
• Professional Attitude: Highly motivated with an eagerness to learn, coupled with the adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
