Biography
Jovana Karanovic is Founder and Managing Director at Reshaping Work. Out of her passion for digital innovations and their potential to lead the economy towards sustainable future, she founded Reshaping Work, which is now recognized as one of the leading authorities in this domain.
Furthermore, Jovana is Assistant Professor at the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University and acclaimed expert in the domain of digital platforms. Her research is at the intersection of platform strategy, platform governance and new organizational forms. Most recently, her research has been published in a leading business journal – the Journal of Management Studies.
Jovana has also been recognized by the media outlet Silicon Canals among the most powerful female ecosystem builders of Amsterdam’s tech domain for the year 2021. She is also an RSA fellow. RSA (Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce) has been leading the social change for the past 260 years. Jovana joined their 30,000 strong Fellowship to support RSA’s mission and join inspiring change makers.
Furthermore, Jovana is a frequent speaker at academic and industry events and has served as an expert on panels and boards of major companies and public institutions. Her most recent appearance has been at TEDx Amsterdam, where she spoke about ‘The Side of the Platform Economy You Haven’t Seen’.
