Biography

Adam Badger is a London based platform worker, currently delivering for a range of platforms in the city. Day to day this involves cycling up to seventy-five miles taking food, drink, and other packages from restaurants and businesses to end customers. Prior to entering the working-world as a gig-economy cycle courier, he was involved in full-time study, achieving a Bachelors and Masters Degree in Geography from Royal Holloway, University of London. He began working in the gig-economy in 2018, following a spell of working in office environments for a range of start-up companies with CRM and SEO responsibilities. Beyond this, he has been actively involved with the Independent Workers of Great Britain Trade-Union (IWGB) in seeking proper recognition for the ‘worker’ status of riders.
