Biography
Joanne is social entrepreneur and advisor to groups on a mission to create large-scale, systemic and
sustainable social change through a combination of new inventions and approaches, applying known
scientific technologies, laws, evidence-based practices and strategies aimed at driving social change to
expand human potential. She serves as Board Chair of an NGO based in Silicon Valley and as a certified mentor to the United Nations Association, San Francisco Chapter. Joanne is a member of Aspen Institute’s Society of Fellows and a participant in the Morris Series on Leadership Innovation which focuses on the underlying theme of leadership based on enduring values and nonpartisan exchange. Joanne received a B.A. in Organizational Communication from California State University, Stanislaus.
