Biography

Nataliia Lomonosova is a PhD student at the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla academy (Kyiv, Ukraine), Department of Social Science and Social Technologies and an analyst at CEDOS think tank, where she focuses on labour migration, labour and social policy in the cities. Nataliia is also a coeditor of the media Political Critique Ukraine, where she is currently curating a journalistic project “Liquid Labour”, dedicated to the labor conditions that emerged with the spread of work through digital platforms and mobile apps. Her research interests include new forms of employment, the role of technologies in work, affective labour, work at the service sector, occupational stress, work and leisure relations. In her PhD research she focuses on the transformation of work mediated by digital platforms and mobile applications and the role and functions of technologies in organizing work and the control over worker.
