Biography

Ugljesa Marjanovic is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Technical Sciences, University of Novi Sad since 2015. He has taught the following subjects: Electronic Business, Strategic Management and Application of Internet, and Information Technology in Business. Marjanovic contributed to the founding of the Distance Learning Laboratory at the Department of Industrial Engineering and Management at the same faculty. In 2015 he joined the “National Group for ICT and Online Learning” at the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development of the Republic of Serbia, a project within European Cooperation: Open Method of Coordination of the EU in the field of education and training. Previously, Marjanovic held the position of Consistent Manager at the Cisco Entrepreneurship Institute in Novi Sad (2008 – 2013). He was a visiting lecturer at Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania. He completed his MBA after a two-year specialization in USA. He held a research position at the Technical Faculty in Vienna within CEEPUS (Central European Exchange Program for University Studies) in 2011, 2012 and 2013. Within the Erasmus Mundus EM2STEM program he spent a month at the City University of London in 2012. He recieved his PhD in 2015 under the title Development of a Model for Collaboration and Its Impact on Organizational Performance. During his doctoral studies he held a one-year specialization at the University of Warsaw within the Erasmus Mundus EM2SIGMA PhD program (2013/2014). Afterwards, he spent six months as a postdoc at City University of London within EM2SIGMA Mobility Program. Marjanovic authored and coauthored numerous academic papers. More about Ugljesa Marjanovic
