Biography
Carine van Oosteren is a senior innovation policy advisor and researcher at TNO Vector. She has a broad interest and extensive work experience. As an economist, with a special interest in the impact of technology on society, she works on innovative projects involving many different stakeholders. For one of her recent researches, she investigated the impact of generative AI on work, based on three case studies. She has a specific interest in the consequences of changes of work on skills
Before joining TNO, she worked as a researcher for various research agencies, as a research advisor and as a senior policy advisor, amongst others at the Social Economic Council (SER). She has contributed to advisory projects on the impact of digitalization on the labor market, the platform economy, and hybrid working.
