Carmelo Cennamo is Professor of Strategy and Entrepreneurship at Copenhagen Business School and Affiliate Professor at SDA Bocconi School of Management. He is a leading expert on competition in digital platform markets and business ecosystems, and a frequent keynote speaker at academic, policy, and corporate events. His research examines competitive dynamics in digital markets, ecosystem governance, and the impact of platforms and AI on traditional industries, with particular attention to implications for competition policy, antitrust, and labor. He was one of three experts invited by the European Parliament’s IMCO Committee to advise on the EU Digital Markets Act. Carmelo directs the Digital Markets Competition Forum at CBS and the Platform Economy & Regulation Lab at SDA Bocconi, fostering dialogue between research and policy.
