Biography
Elizabeth Kuiper is Associate Director at the Brussels-based European Policy Centre. Her focus is on society’s ability to recover from crises and economic shocks, linking up the EPC’s research on economic security and EU health policy; the future of work and the societal implications of AI; social investment in healthcare and affordable housing; inequalities, gender policies and women’s health.
Before joining the EPC, Elizabeth was Executive Director at the European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations (EFPIA). She previously worked as Attaché at the Permanent Representation of the Netherlands to the EU in the field of health and as Political Adviser to the Minister of Health, Welfare and Sports in the Netherlands, the country she knows best.
