Elmira van den Broek is an Assistant Professor at Stockholm School of Economics, House of Innovation and is affiliated with the Wallenberg Foundation on AI in social sciences (WASP-HS, https://wasp-hs.org). She holds a PhD from Vrije Universiteit, KIN Center for Digital Innovation with a focus on artificial intelligence and work. During her doctoral studies, she was a visiting scholar at New York University, Stern School of Business.
Her research interest lies in the intersection of the fields of technology, work, and organizations. Specifically, she explores the implications of emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence for knowledge work, ethical decision-making, and occupations in organizations. Her latest work is published in MIS Quarterly Special Issue on Managing AI. She has presented her work at various major conferences in the field of technology and organizations including the Academy of Management Meeting, the International Conference on Information Systems, the European Group for Organizational Studies Colloquium, and the Process Symposium.
