Biography
Hendrik Meerkamp is Senior Policy Adviser at the European Confederation of Independent Trade Unions (CESI). Working for CESI since 2015, he coordinates CESI’s policy advocacy in EU employment and social affairs policy. He also manages CESI’s internal Working Group on the Future of Work which recently adopted a dedicated position paper on ‘Shaping the AI-driven workplace: Ensuring fairness and protection for all workers’. Before joining CESI, he held a position as consultant at a Brussels-based political intelligence service provider. He holds a BA degree in international politics and history from Jacobs University Bremen and an MA degree in European political and administrative studies from the College of Europe in Bruges.
