Biography

Inès Baer is the Head of Data, Analytics and Labor Market Studies at Luxembourg’s Public Employment Service (ADEM). She is also leading ADEM’s Future Skills Initiatives, developing programs that facilitate the upskilling and reskilling of jobseekers and workers, and she’s part of the coordinating team of Luxembourg’s national skills strategy. Before her activities at ADEM, Inès was working as a management consultant at KPMG, advising clients in matters of strategy, innovation and emerging technologies. In December of 2021, Inès joined the KIN Center for Digital Innovation as an external PhD candidate. Her research is focused on the intersection between AI and work practices. Inès is particularly interested in the phenomenon of augmentation that comes with the use of artificial intelligence. Inès holds a BSc in Industrial Engineering and Economics from RWTH Aachen and a Master in Management from ESCP Business School. She studied and worked in Germany, France, Singapore, the United States and Luxembourg.
