Biography

Stijn Broecke is a Senior Economist at the OECD, where he leads the organisation’s Future of Work initiative. He is currently in charge of a large research programme looking at the impact of AI on the labour market, and he will be co-editor of the 2023 OECD Employment Outlook, which will have a thematic focus on AI. In the past, he has also co-authored and co-edited the 2019 OECD Employment Outlook on the Future of Work, and he has worked on a range of topics including: skills, youth unemployment, minimum wages, higher education, pensions, health, and child poverty. Stijn holds a Master’s degree from the University of Cambridge and a PhD from the University of London.
