Biography

Vincent Huguet is the CEO and co-founder of Malt. An EDHEC alumni, he worked for France Telecom and Telmex in Mexico for 7 years, heading their strategy and marketing departments. He also developed one of Mexico’s first e-commerce websites, offering flower and gift delivery services. Back in France he co-founded and became the COO of the Aventers Group, where he developed a media site in Europe (Dromadaire), and an online printing platform (Ooprint). As an entrepreneur, he struggled finding freelancers to work with him. When he met Hugo Lassiège, freelance developer and founder of the tech community Lateral Thoughts, Vincent Huguet decided to create Malt with a strong ambition in mind: to transform the market of IT consulting and intellectual services, with an open platform model, one that promotes transparency and community among freelancers. With a community of 390,000 freelancers, and 50,000 active companies (including 36 of all CAC 40 companies), Malt is the largest freelancing community and marketplace in Europe.
