Biography
Wendy Liu is the CEO of Zurich Integrated Benefits and International Life. Zurich Integrated Benefits brings together businesses within the Zurich Group that provide employee benefits to companies ranging from SMEs to mid and large corporates, both domestic and multinational. It enables the integration of services and insurance products to provide holistic and personalized benefits to support our corporate customers in engaging and supporting their workforce. Zurich International Life includes our Isle of Man balance sheet and its various overseas branches for International Life businesses.
Wendy joined Zurich Group in 2011. Before being appointed as CEO of Zurich Integrated Benefits and International Life, she was Global Head of Corporate Life & Pension, which is also part of her current portfolio within Zurich Integrated Benefits. Prior to that, she held various positions in the company, including heading up the Zurich Global Employee Benefits Solutions unit which provides solutions to multinational companies, and Global Partnership Director responsible for the strategic relationship with leading global brokers.
Before joining Zurich, Wendy was with Willis Towers Watson for 10 years, specializing in international benefits consulting and benefits financing solutions.
Wendy received an MBA from Columbia University and London Business School, and a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Economics, with a minor in Accounting, from UCLA. She is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries.
